A Backyard Garden With Self-Sustaining Fruits, Vegetables, Herbs, Medicines, Water, Fragrances & Wildlife...

Val and Eli take us on a tour of their magical permagarden in Jacksonville FL. They have created a wonderful, natural space filled with self-sustaining fruits, vegetables, herbs, medicines, colors, water, fragrances, and wildlife. This is the very best fast food!

They started by sheet mulching across their entire property. That is laying cardboard over the entire lawn, followed by organic material about a foot & a half thick, mainly wood chips & leaves, basically whatever was free & local. They then started building up the vegetation into a really amazing garden.
