Living Off The Grid & Alone For Over 30 Years...

Meet Jill Redwood.

Jill built her house in East Gippsland, Australia where she has lived alone for over 30 years.

Jill is almost entirely self-sufficient with no mains power, water, or television. She generates her own power using solar panels. She heats her water, home and does her cooking using a wood stove. She gets her drinking water from rain water running off the roof, or from a nearby creek.

The nearest town is an hour and a half away which she visits every few months for minor supplies and she lives off around $80 a week. She has over sixty animals to keep her company, including chickens, geese, milking cows, and a large garden where she grows and preserves her own organic food.

Check out the short video below to learn more about her lifestyle and share it with anyone you think might enjoy a more simple self sufficient life like Jill.

She might just be the inspiration they need to make it happen…

We grow everything we need, here, in our small backyard. We also have a small medicinal garden for tough times. Read More Here...
