Foraging For Wild Edible Plants & Bartering With Free Forest Food...

Being self-sufficient goes beyond trying to have a self-sufficient home and homestead. Jesse and Alyssa from Pure Living For Life want to be self-sufficient even outside of the home, so one of the things they’ve been focusing on is learning what edible plants are in their area, and how they might be able to capitalize on those for free food!

More specifically, it’s huckleberry season and they’ve been trying to gather as many huckleberries as possible to stock their pantry with! They made this short video to share information about how they are foraging in the forest and then how they’re turning our finds into delicious goods that they can barter with or give as gifts!
